Denis Efimov is among the new IEEE Fellows for 2026



This recognition honours his contributions to the control and estimation of non-linear systems.

Denis Efimov joined Inria as a researcher in 2011, after conducting research at the Institute of Problems of Mechanical Engineering RAS (Russia), the Montefiore Institute (Belgium) and the CNRS, in the L2S laboratories at CentraleSupélec and IMS at the University of Bordeaux.

He is currently head of the VALSE project team, which he shares with the CRIStAL laboratory at the University of Lille.

The IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) awards this title to recognise outstanding achievements in one of its fields of interest. ‘The honoured achievements have made a significant contribution to the advancement or application of engineering, science and technology, bringing significant value to society as a whole,’ the organisation explains.
